Farage was back for PMQs after his latest trans-Atlantic foray to be by his friend’s side for the US election. He’d quite like to be the next UK ambassador in Washington, to put his Trump-whispering skills to the test on the ground.

Nigel Farage has been touted for his links to Donald Trump, but there's an important role much closer to home if only Keir Starmer would listen.

Farage, the Brexit-campaigner and self-described troublemaker, is a friend of Trump and was at his election victory party in Florida. He has offered to act as an interlocutor between the British government and the Trump administration, which takes power in January.

Farage, who leads the upstart, right-wing Reform UK, won a seat in the U.K. parliament for the first time at the general election in July, helping to erode the Conservative vote as the party was booted out of office.
