The incoming Trump administration will dramatically expand its ability to detain illegal immigrants as it looks to launch a historic mass deportation operation.

President-elect Trump's pick to be the “border czar" has issued a pointed response to Gov. Pritzker's recent pledge to keep Illinois a sanctuary state for undocumented immigrants.

The undocumented immigrant, who has two children who are U.S. citizens, said he would respect the decision if he was deported.
